Tertulias are informal gatherings where we share and discuss Hispanic culture. For SHD members.
Since 2012, we have given almost $40,000 back to the community through student scholarship awards for native and non-native Spanish speakers.
We offer FREE school presentations (in English or Spanish) on a variety of topics, such as Hispanic Heritage Month and Jobs for Spanish Majors.
Spanish Film Presentation
Once a year, we present a film in Spanish at the County Theater in Doylestown.
SHD members enjoy formal and impromptu gatherings together, whether to a restaurant, museum, theater or any other venue that is hosting a Hispanic-related event.
This is our annual fundraiser, held in the Fall. There's lots of food, music and good company... all for a wonderful cause!
